Badly Sited Street Name Sign

Reported anonymously at 11:14, Fri 16 March 2018

Sent to East Hertfordshire District Council and Hertfordshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1247539.

The street name sign to the right of the entrance to the cul de sac, is located approximately 1 metre into the hedge that borders the road. In Spring and Summer when the hedge grows outward as well as upward, this sign is completely obliterated by branches and leaves. When the sign was first installed in the 1970's the hedge was only knee high, now it can grow to 5 metres, before it is cut in August, by Highways, who own it. Can it please be relocated to the front of the verge so that it is clearly visible?. Thank you.
