Deep pothole where infill after road works is collapsing.
Reported in the Road works problem category by Iain Pailing at 20:23, Tue 13 March 2018
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later
New traffic lights are being fitted to control traffic at the junction of Eastboro Way/Cambourne Drive and the new development at Wheatcroft Farm. 2 trenches were dug to allow cables to cross the raod. These 2 trenches have been reported previously but are now deteriorating to the degree that , after hitting them, I may have to have the suspension on my car checked for damage after hitting them at below the posted speed limit. The infill has subsided due to the weather and heavy use.

I spoke with a gentleman from the Council who explained what the problem was and agreed with me that the problem required fixing. He told me that the contractor had been informed of the problem and would be rectifying it. Whether rectification has been attempted I do not know but it is now just as bad as when I originally reported it.

Still open, via questionnaire
I spoke with a member of the team responsible for roads in the area. While sympathetic, he was also easily pleased and told me that the contractor had been told of the problem and was doing something about it. Unfortunately their idea of fixing the pothole did not match mine and the hole was still present and getting worse.
