Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 20:21, Tue 13 March 2018

Sent to Aberdeenshire Council 4 minutes later

The council have spread massive amounts of sand on the payments. Has consideration being given to the use of pure rock salt following standard European practices instead of a mix of sand and rock- salt this in order to minimise the damaging effects on vehicles’ windscreens and paintwork, clean-up costs, and the drainage and slip hazards associated with excess grit” at road junctions and pavements.

Also when do the council intend to send a sweeper to clean up this hazardous risk of loose sand?
