Drop kerb

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 18:26, Tue 13 March 2018

Sent to Norfolk County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1243939.

The dropped kerb outside 239 Smeeth road, Marshland St James seems to be to low, when it rains the water floods my gate way, as you can see by the photos I have provided. When it rains really hard we have trouble getting in and out of our driveway because of the water that has gathered off of the road. it has got really bad recently with all the rain and snow. This is a major problem when we walk our son to school because he has to wear wellington boots to get accross and out of our drive and the post man has trouble getting down our drive to deliverer the post.

  • Over 5 months I have been waiting for this to be done I no it may not be a priority at the moment but when the weather starts to get bad again we will have to put up with a flooded gate way again . This year if it gets bad like last year the post man may refuse to deliver any post due to the flooded gate.

  • It has been 8 months since I have reported this and the weather has turned and my gate is starting to flood again when it rains, this is starting to get beyond a joke I have been very patient about this. My son will soon have to wear wellingtons to walk to school ,just to get out of the gate. WHEN WILL THIS BE DONE?

  • Ok so its winter again and my driveway is flooded again if the rain carrys on like it has I'll need an ARK to get out of my drive. I'm thinking of traiding my car in for a car that can go on water.
