Damaged but salvageable road sign on A272 Spitfire Link
Reported in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 09:09, Tue 13 March 2018
Sent to Hampshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1242825.
One of the large road signs at this location was damaged in the recent bad weather, and 2 of the 3 component parts appear to have been blown around by the wind.
From the car they still look straight, so if addressed quickly the signage could well be salvageable and easily repaired by your road signs team and some simple spare parts.
Approximate location:
A272, Winchester SO23 0QW, UK Lat. 51.059900 (51°03.5940′N) Long. -1.292308 (1°17.5385′W) https://goo.gl/ N2d6x6 (Google Maps)
This particular sign is at the lower end of Spitfire Link almost on the junction with the roundabout to Winchester and the A31 Petersfield Road. It is the second one as you approach the roundabout, partly obscured by the larger one in front of it.
