When Oxfordshire County Council install staggered barriers across a footway we do this to prevent anti social behaviour, we install the guardrails to the guidelines specified in the Department for Transport Inclusive Mobility Guide which stipulates minimum 1200mm gaps all round, this site has been measured and complies with these guidelines, on this basis please attempt the manoeuvre as the mobility scooter should be able to fit through.
