Loose drain cover

There’s a loose drain cover in the road outside no.20 Hemlock Way which makes a loud clanging noise every time a vehicle passes over it. A really annoying problem causing constant disturbance to local residents for the last 6 weeks or so.

Updates

  • The County Council apparently passed the issue to ‘a third party’ and I heard nothing more. Having subsequently visited the local authority website I found that the problem had been ‘closed’ as there was no danger involved.
