Cars parking along the road on the bend blocking one side of the road.
Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 09:26, Fri 2 March 2018
Sent to Hounslow Borough Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1231369.
Within the last couple of months cars have been parking outside the Royal British Legion and blocking half of the carriageway. These cars are usually left most of the evening and overnight. This forces drivers to use the wrong side of the road to pass. I have personally nearly been in head on collisions with cars driving on the wrong side of the road due to this. The cars parked here only leave enough room for one vehicle to pass through in one direction. This is also a bus route so in addition to being a major road hazard this also causes heavy traffic by blocking the buses. There are no yellow lines or parking restrictions on this section of road although people generally have not parked on this section of road up until these last two months. I'm not sure if people starting to park here has been a knock on effect of the new gym car park charges or just due to the increase of residential properties in the area but this has never been an issue up until recently.

To Hounslow Council, I experienced the same. This is an incident waiting to happen. Cars parking outside of Royal British Legion create a blind spot. New developments have been built in Heston and parking have been overlooked by Hounslow council. Please come up with effective plan/parking control asap before fatal incident.
