Uneven footpath/tree roots
Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 21:30, Sun 27 June 2010
Sent to Norwich City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 121791.
The footpath at the end of Half Mile Road is extremely uneven and needs attention. The slabs have all come up from tree roots and from people driving over the footpath. It is a close to impossible task for a wheelchair user or someone with a pushchair to use this end of the path, dangerous and a trip hazard too.

This is still uneven. Infact my 5 year old son tripped up here today and hurt his knee. This area needs some urgent attention.

Slabs are still not fixed, very uneven and some are sticking up to form a 'step effect'! Very dangerous trip hazard.

Still not repaired and mpre sections of the path are beginning to 'raise' because of the tree roots. the whole path needs re doing, especially if they plan to turn some of the street lights off soon.....

Footpath has since been resurfaced and old slabs removed - thanks to a petition from the Green Party.
