Apparent closure of Hayes Hill Ln
Reported in the Obstructions (skips, A boards) category anonymously at 00:28, Fri 16 February 2018 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bromley Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1217596.
I'm a volunteer editor for the Waze sat-nav app. Over the last couple of weeks, several users have reported that Hayes Hill Ln has been blocked, preventing access between Pickhurst Ln and Tiepigs Ln. There is no entry on the Bromley roadworks site giving any indication of works here. Can you please advise whether Hayes Hill Rd is closed, why and for how long?

This report has been referred to our Traffic Management Team who are responsible for the way traffic is managed on Bromley's roads; including, but not limited to, implementing new road markings and signage in relation to road safety and parking; walking and cycling improvements, including identifying locations for new cycle racks and installing Vehicle Activated speed signs - however, please note that responsibility for enforcing speed limits rests with the Police.
Where requests are made for changes, our Traffic Management Team will consider all requests but often there is a need for a full investigation, planning and consultation within the local area particularly around proposed new traffic schemes, and any considerations must be balanced with borough-wide priorities. This report is now closed on FixMyStreet and our Traffic Management Team will consider this matter.State changed to: Internal referral

Hayes Hill Road, Hayes is closed at the junction with Pickhurst Lane until currently Friday 30/03/2018. Thames Water are completing major flooding prevention works at this location.
Traffic is being diverted via Bourne Way, Station Approach and Pickhurst Lane whilst the closure is in place.

As it's a road closure due to utility works, surely it should be visible on roadworks.org?
My initial query was prompted by the total lack of any report on both roadworks.org and London Register of Roadworks.

I've had a Waze user report today that the road is not closed when approaching from Pickhurst Ln. Can you confirm that the user was mistaken and that Hayes Hill Rd remains closed in both directions?
There is still no record on either TfL Roadworks Register or roadworks.org. Is this going to be rectified?

Thank you for your additional comments, I can confirm that the road is still closed to traffic in both directions and will currently still be remaining closed until the end of March 2018.
I'm unsure as to why this is not showing on the road works websites as there is a valid permit in place, so there may be a system issue with this location.
