Graffiti on canal wall opposite apartments/electric wharf

Reported in the Graffiti category anonymously at 21:19, Sunday 11 February 2018

Sent to Coventry City Council less than a minute later

There is various graffiti on the wall which runs along the canal towpath, opposite the apartments/the electric wharf accommodation and as you approach the canal mmvi apartment buildings. Has been reported weeks ago on council's report form. No improvement, graffiti is still there. I am happy to clean it/paint over it-if you provide the materials, thank you.

  • Graffiti is still there - fresh 'tags' have also been added, very distasteful indeed :( Council has assured me that the message has been passed on to the Canal & River Trust whose responsibility it is apparently.

  • Council not bothered. Canal and River Trust not taken any action, however there is now a new Towpath Taskforce for the Canal Basin :) Maybe they will clean it up! I hope :)
