Access to Thames path obstructed at Duke Shore Wharf

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category by simon rice at 14:08, Thu 8 February 2018

Sent to Tower Hamlets Borough Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1210556.

The Thames Path signpost has been covered/defaced with tape and gates through the archway of Duke Shore Wharf were locked (as of lunchtime on sunday 4th Feb 2018) obscuring and physically preventing access onto the Thames Path National Trail. NB TfL publishes a guide to the Thames Path stating this is the correct route.

  • Hi, this still seems to be the case as shown in the first photo. However, I believe the cause is an unsafe path on the other side of the building as shown in the second photo. It is possible to access the rest of the Thames Path after the next building Eastwards so it is only a short diversion.
