No lane markings leading to cars cutting corner

Leopold road doesn't have lane markings / centre line markings. The sharpness of the bend and lack of a centre white line (and poor driving) means a lot of cars cut the corner when heading south and around the corner. I've come face to face with cars when on my bicycle (heading north) despite being well over to my left. Some time ago there was a head on collision due to the same root causes, leading to a fire engine crew cutting the driver out of one of the cars. The road is a popular cut through, to avoid the N Circular when it's busy. I argue that a little bit of white paint on the corner itself will encourage cars to stick to the right side of the road, improving safety.
