Cars parking on both sides of road on a bend.

Sent to West Oxfordshire District Council 2 minutes later

Cars and vans parking with all four wheels on the pavement/cycle path and cars parked on road opposite. This is on a bend which is now a main thoroughfare for traffic for both Shilton AND Swinbrook Park (thanks to the road closure on Swinbrook Road which funnels all that traffic down Elmhurst Way). This causes problems for road users who have reduced visibility of oncoming vehicles as there is nowhere to go when you meet another vehicle on the bend, and it cause problems for pedestrians who can't use the pavement, or cyclists who want to use the cycle path. It has been a problem for years - I have photos going back to 2014 but can't post as they have VRN's in - but has got worse recently. This is combined with increased traffic from Swinbrook Park trying to get to the A40 eastbound and the speed with which vehicles travel along the straight part of Elmhurst Way leading up to the bend. It is an accident waiting to happen.
