Grass verges limit parking

We live on the new keepmoat development.

We have a single driveway and it is surrounded by a grass verge either side. This leaves us with nowhere to park our 2nd car, we live in a 4 bedroom house so need 2 cars. The other houses have footpaths but we have two grass verges in poor condition as it is winter and the mud is very slippy and wet. Please advise if we can have one of the verges tarmaced as our road will be getting done soon so they could do the verge at the same time . Cave Crescent coalville.
