The road is always water logged and therefore freezes, likely as a result of a burst water main. The road has been like this in excess of six months.

Sent to Breckland District Council and Norfolk County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1196324.

Travelling out of Garvestone in the direction of Wymondham, the road descends through the junction with Hingham Road to the offside before ascending as it leaves the village. For as long as I can remember, in excess of six months, the road is always far wetter than it should be for the conditions. There is either a leaking water pipe of a problem with drainage from surrounding fields. The result of this, in the colder months, is that the road is unusually iced over, even when gritted as the water overwhelms the attempts to keep it free of ice.

  • It wasn’t fixed.

I received an email about two days ago to say that they couldn’t find a problem.
