Grass verge destroyed by delivery truck to No. 9

Reported anonymously at 14:05, Thursday 25 January 2018

Sent to Kingston upon Thames Borough Council 5 minutes later

A large Jewsons Builders Merchant on delivery truck has completely destroyed the grass verge outside No.7 Herne Road by deliberately driving onto the soft/wet grass verge while making a delivery to No.9 Herne Road on Wednesday 24/01/18. The company concerned or the homeowners at No.9 should be held fully responsible for the damage and the cost of re-instating the verge as it is now dangerous.

  • *** Of course the problem was not fixed. The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames are no more than useless when it comes to issues like this. They just seem not to care or are incapable of responding to issues like this.

  • Of course the problem was not fixed. Since then a number of other verges in the street were damaged by lorries delivering building materials or by builders parking on verges etc. The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames are utterly useless in dealing or enforcing issues like this. They simply do not care. However park you car on a yellow line or commit a parking offence anywhere in the borough and see how long it takes Kingston Council to respond??? They would be down on you in a few minutes and issue a fine because that makes them money. For other issues that affect local residents or the overall environment they are useless and simply do not care.

  • Yet again I have to report that the problem was not fixed and Kingston Council simply took no action whatsoever. The council simply do not care and are simply not bothered. They are UTTERLY USELESS!!!!
