Parking on Baird Avenue

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 16:26, Wed 24 January 2018

Sent to Argyll and Bute Council 6 minutes later

Parking on Baird Avenue is a real problem. There are 2 disabled bays, one of which is larger than normal and is unused. The lady at 17 had it (for a normal small car) but no longer has a car. On such a small street why do we need 2? Especially when one is unused? Can the large space be removed?

Updates

  • We live on Baird Avenue. We have 3 disabled parking bays on our bit of the road. Parking on the road is problematic, it is very busy. One of the bay's is no longer required as the lady who used it has no longer got a car. I feel on a road where parking is so difficult it is not unreasonable to ask for an unused bay to be removed.
