Multiple sunken manholes.
Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 15:58, Mon 22 January 2018
Sent to Hampshire County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1191632.
As a cyclist and motorcyclist the not flush/level manholes along this section of new road surface are a problem, both for the shock/jarring and potential wheel damage, but also for the future damage they will promote with air suspension trucks and buses pounding them and due to the suspension oscillations the road surface up to 5 metres or more after them. IF the council pull's it's finger out it might even be rectified before the contractors foxtrot oscar at ZERO cost!

It seems that almost all the manholes and stop valve covers along the relaid A27 are below the roads surface, a nice little earner for the future repair contractors...

As I suspected, now the traffic can flow at 40 mph (up north such roads are usually derestricted, why is this road restricted to 40?) the already below road surface level manholes are being driven deeper by air-suspension 'thump'...
