12inch pothole that gives quite a scare. Hard to see when approaching from the north

This pothole has been here for sometime but I don't know accurately how long. When approaching from Clathrate there's little chance to see it and the road narrows so hard to avoid. Have an almighty clang when I drove into/over it.
