Dog waste bin needed

Reported in the Dog fouling category anonymously at 11:45, Tuesday 16 January 2018

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 5 minutes later

Dog walkers come along both parts of St James's Park and leave dog waste behind in little bags because there is no bin nearby. This part of the pavement would be a good location for a bin: a) it is close to where both dog-walking routes join; b) the pavement here is wider than elsewhere in St James's Park so there is room for a bin; c) few people other than dog walkers walk along this stretch of road (residents of the upper part of St James's Park mostly travel by car).

  • The Council is no longer installing bins just for dog waste. I was told there was no budget left in the current year but that a new budget started in April. I will make enquiries again.
