The road has now been flooded for a month or more and the mud deposits on both the road and pavement are at dangerously high levels as cars brake hard on the muddy road to avoid ploughing into the water. Pedestrians are now walking in the road to avoid the slippy pavement, adding to the potentially dangerous situation. Dont know why this has gone on for so long as it must be the worst and most dangerous stretch of road in Essex.

The flood has now gone but the pavement is in a shocking state. In places it is over 6 inches deep in mud and silt. Considering the pavement constantly used by airport pedestrian traffic it is a wonder no one has slipped and had a serious fall. Be it in your heads Essex Highways if they do!!!
