Flytipping and disgusting amounts of rubbish

Reported in the Flytipping category anonymously at 14:27, Saturday 13 January 2018

Sent to Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council 3 minutes later

The whole of Coopers Green Lane (and wider area of Sandridge/St Albans) has massive litter problems. Coopers Green Lane is particularly awful. It's been like this for way too long and must be cleaned!!! There is now someone also camping alongside the road and making even more rubbish. They have heaps of bin bags and the whole road is disgusting. Please get this area cleared as it is a real hazard. It's embarrassing for our area to get this awful. Flytipping signs are needed plus penalty notices for people in vehicles throwing rubbish out of their windows. Thank you! It nearly brings me to tears it's so bad.

  • It seems that both St Albans and Welwyn/Hatfield Councils haven't acted on this. I really hope that each doesn't think it's the other's problem and leave our area in a complete, hazardous mess.
