Triangle separating roads is overgrown and visibility is restricted
Reported in the Roads/highways category by Martin Gilbert at 08:05, Wed 10 January 2018
Sent to Cardiff Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1179575.
The triangle separating the roads coming off Pentwyn Link Road and into Heol Pontprennau is an accident waiting to happen. The developers carved up the undergroth to lay cables, but have left it in such a mess that when looking right on the roundabout your visibility is blocked. This needs to be sorted as a matter of urgency.

The housing contractors left this road triangle in a disgusting state which is also a danger as you can’t see traffic as you look left. Please clear the undergrowth as a matter of urgency before there is an accident

This work has not been done. Why not? You only have to get the developer to sort the mess created. At no cost to the Tax payer.

The area of concern has been cut back. I pretty poor job though. The lot should have been removed and either tarmaced over or replanted. The easy and scuffy method was used. Why is there no pride in any council work undertaken these days? The gateway into Cardiff and with this and the main roundabount looks a complete eyesore. Thanks for cutting this back. Hopefully accidents will be overted, but it is a crying shame its always half a job.
