Human Waste on the Road and Pavement Surface

The septic tank from the Raj Villa restaurant overflows with human waste into the surface water drainage and on to Ermine Street. Since Lowgate Lane was re-surfaced in September 2017, this now ponds right across the junction. It absolutely stinks and is a danger to public health. It is impossible to walk, cycle or drive down the lane without getting this foul effluent on your tyres or shoes, or dog's feet.

Nothing appears to have been done about clearing the blocked gully and the road junction is continually flooded.

The gutters along Ermine Street have recently been partially cleaned, but this blocked gully has not been cleaned out and continues to pond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It smells awful, is a danger to public health and urgently needs attention. Why has such a simple and much-needed task not been undertaken after more than 15 weeks?

It has now been over a year since this was first reported. The gully has never been cleaned out and the Road junction still floods each time it rains. This is dangerous in the current freezing conditions as cars come down the hill and try to stop at the junction. There is now considerable flooding along Ermine Street and a build up of toxic human waste.
