HUGE and very dangerous potholes

Reported in the Potholes category by Sue Bennett at 17:44, Sunday 7 January 2018

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later

When full of water the significant depth of these holes cannot be seen. They stretch almost across the road and being on a corner/brow of small hill they are certainly not seen at night until you hit them ... REALLY dangerous. They have been building up and increasing in size for months.

  • I am aware that the weather has not been helpful but this particular area is new to flooding and potholes to the extent that now exists. At least there are some cones to warn people who don't know the road not to go through the water and hit the deep potholes. However, the potholes on the opposite side of the road are now becoming equally dangerous.
