Broken and Blocked Drain - Trip and drowning hazard

I noticed this issue in last year as there was a large puddle on the pavement, outside the property next to the Nisa Local Store. In the summer I found it had been cleared, but exposing a broken drain. This is obviously a hazard to pedestrians. This has now filled in with fallen leaves and muck again and blocked the drain resulting in a massive puddle which is difficult to pass without getting a bootie.

  • Highways England recently assessed the issue and have agreed to schedule in the work. Hope to see it fixed soon.

  • It's still not fixed and continues to flood each time it rains, which is daily at present.
