Cars parked causing vehicles to travel on the wrong side of the road on a blind bend

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 19:01, Sun 24 December 2017

Sent to Wirral Borough Council 3 minutes later

When travelling towards Peter Prices Lane, along Brackenwood Road. The cars parked on the left-hand side of the road on the bend mean that vehicles are forced to go into a blind bend on the wrong side of the road. It is impossible to see if there is someone approaching from Peter Prices Lane. Also vehicles approaching from Peter Prices Lane are not expecting a vehicle to be approaching on their side of the road as they enter the bend. It is only a matter of time before somebody is seriously injured or killed.

  • 8 months since I reported this very dangerous situation. Very bad this week with work vans parked there. You are basically traveling on the wrong side of the road on a blind bend for about 200 yards! Wirral Borough Council should be ashamed of themselves. The people responsible should serve a prison sentence when first death or injury occurs.
