Sharp stones, wire and hedge cuttings on cycle path

Recent road resurfacing and hedge cutting has lead to a large amount of debris along the entire length of the cyclepath between Madley Park and North Leigh. Debris consists of sharp stones, thorns and small fragments of wire. The topping from the road surface seems to have been loosened by the cold weather and the path is now hazardous for cyclists, especially in the dark (the loose chippings are constantly being kicked up by cars on to the cycle path). I commute to work regularly along this path and I have had 3 punctures in 4 days cycling (and I have puncture resistant tyres!). Cycle path requires thorough sweeping (but thanks for clearing the verges earlier in the year!). Road also needs sweeping.
