Large hole in the pavement

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council 22 hours, 15 minutes later. Council ref: 819414.

On the left hand side, next to the Town Hall there is a large hole that is obstructing the pavement, and causing difficulties to the pedestrians, and needs to be looked into. The councillor, put a large signage meanwhile, until the road is completely repair, to secure the area .

  • This hole is 1401mm in length and 490mm in width. The hole has been in situate since June this year. The plastic barriers belong to Henley Town Council.

  • Thank you for your report, we have inspected and note the cellar grate is missing and the site is currently cordoned off. This will be a matter for the adjacent property to address and we will make enquiries to this effect in due course.
