Various large potholes yet again

Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 16:17, Sun 17 December 2017

Sent to West Sussex County Council 3 minutes later

The same potholes that are filled in on a regular basis have appeared yet again. Drivers are swerving them on a very narrow road. Something more permanent needs to be done as soon as possible

  • This is once again a nightmare. Everyone will start going the other way around via Church Hill if this is not fixed and hence cause building damage etc.. My car bounces into every hole if I am not careful. There is allegedly a huge drainage system under this street, ( a culvert ), this apparently needs reinforcing, the road needs skimming and re-surfacing once the underlying problem has been resolved. I understand that it possible to road plane down to 300ml in about 3 hours and then compact the necessary layers overnight with a top surface the next day . Who is going to pick up all the wheel and suspension issues that arise from the repeated problem? The French would have sorted this out in a day!
