As reported by others the New Beckenham station end of Kings Hall Road has piles of uncollected leaves which are now a slippery trip hazard and decaying. I witnessed a person slip on them today. Dangerous and as all the leaves are down can we not, like the other roads, now have them collected before there is a serious accident caused. Thanks.

See above. Piles of leaves need collecting and pavements needs clearing of decaying and slippery leaves. Trees are now barren and other roads have been fully cleared of them. Now starting to block drains and hide defects in the pavements. People now slipping and tripping. Please could they be cleared up.

  • I inspected this road today. I agree that the amount of leaves is above what I would expect the routine street cleansing to cope with. I will liaise with the operations manager of our street cleansing contractor to have this road placed on the rota for extra leaf clearance. I cannot give an exact date for this but it will be as soon as it can be arranged.AO 15/12/17
