The full length of Riverside and Church Road from the junction with Bishopstoke Road to the junction with Stoke Common Road has become just a single lane due to the daily and nightly parking of cars and other vehicles. The road is now a death-trap and merits double yellow lines on the full length of both roadsides. Current and future-planned 'developments' contribute to this unsatisfactory situation. Does it require a major accident to force the roads authorities to deal with it? Are they even interested?
