Multiple cars parked on footpath and opposite other cars to restrict access

Reported in the On-street parking category by Steve Davis at 10:20, Thu 7 December 2017

Sent to East Sussex County Council less than a minute later

Cars parked every day on footpath. Road width restricted to emergency vehicles. This is a daily issue on week days. Some days even my car will not have access as gap too small. Delivery lorries alway can’t get though and an ambulance had to drive on pavement for access in adjacent road Sutherland avenue. I also have a motor home and can’t get home or leave at times between 08.30 up to 20.00 on some days due to poor parking mantle from Hastings Direct Staff. Yellow lines and over white lines paid for by residents for access but policing is required. In the photo they or on the double yellow lines. De crimilisation of the parking in Rother DC is needed as the Police are not doing their jobs in this area. Cars parked on top of junctions so no visibility to pull out safely. Blocking footpaths even at junctions and we have blind people living and working in this area. General lack of any consideration for any one except their need to park as close as possible to their destination
