Vehicles driving at speed on pavement

38 Marshall Rd OX4 2NR. My home and garden is situated sideways along the road. This leaves a large pavement area to which Vehicles park with two wheels on the pavement. My issue is that vehicles drive at speed along the pavement area and use my drop curb as a run and run off. I have on three occasions had to jump backwards when stepping out onto the pavement because of cars or vans traveling at speed while still on still on the pavement. Every time it’s been a different vehicle So speaking to the drivers makes no difference. I have an autistic son who has limited Road safety knowledge and I dread to think what could happen if he stepped out onto the pavement and meeting oncoming vehicle. Would it be possible to get a bollard placed to the right of my drop curb to stop vehicles doing this? I would be more than willing to pay for this myself if it is affordable.

Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately we do not have a budget to provide a new bollard at this location.
Driving on the footway is an offence and should be reported to Thames Valley Police.
