Vehicle Abandoned for in excess of 3 months

Sent to Cherwell District Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1157425.

In a bay off Lucerne Avenue closest to 13 Lucerne Avenue a car has been abandoned and is now being vandalised. - The vehicle has been in the same place and stationary for at least 3 months. - The vehicle is now significantly damaged with dents along the driver side, at least 2 of the tyres are completely flat and now most of the windows have been smashed. - Glass from the broken windows is all around the vehicle.

The vehicle is registered as SORN (registered as a vehicle off the road) however that means the vehicle must be kept on a private driveway, garage, or on private land for a limited period of time. It cannot be parked on any kind of public road. However, this vehicle IS parked on a public road... Lucerne Avenue. Vehicle is a grey VW Golf with reg X302MKO.

Updates

Hi, Please can we have an update on this the vehicle is getting more and more damaged by youngsters it is being filled with Snow and the Windscreen is further shattered. Massive Health and Safety issue not to mention how fed up the Neighbours are with this in their area. Thanks

If you are looking for an update... you are best asking the council directly rather than asking here as "updates are not sent to the council."

If you want something done about this I suggest either (or both of): - calling the council on 01295 227000 or - Report a NEW problem about it on this very FIXMYSTREET site.
