Spencers Lane road name sign missing

Reported in the Road traffic signs category by Alastair Dymond at 10:37, Tue 5 December 2017

Sent to Solihull Borough Council 2 minutes later

Up until about 2-3 years ago a road name sign indicated that Spencers Lane continued up the slight hill towards Nailcote & Duggins Lanes. The sign was 'felled' in a car crash and has NEVER reappeared. As a resident at Holly Lodge, we have had six missed deliveries in this busy season already, caused by van drivers getting to the roundabout with Tanners Lane and turning back towards Berkswell! PLEASE can we have our sign back AND positioned slightly up hill from the roundabout to make it clear this lane is still Spencers Lane OR an ARROW on the sign. Many thanks in anticipation of your assistance.

  • No action to date - BUT been end of year (Christmas etc) AND it takes time to make OR recover the sign and get it installed.
