Inconsiderate parking - cars taking up two spaces by parking in the middle of two spots

INow the Swan is open again its almost impossible to park in this area for residents. The problem is made far worse by people taking up to spaces such as in the bay outside the Striped pole and the bay in front of the wedding shop. Could white lines be painted at right angles to the pavement to encourage people to park considerately and not take up 2 spaces by parking in the middle? also parking all over the pavement seems to be acceptable too which makes it hard for those using prams and mobility aids

  • Parking around this area is deteriorating with many cars parked on pavements alongside double yellow lines and or on the road on double yellows. Major concerns around the junction with Weir Road where and accident is waiting to happen.
