Tennants dumping things hopefully to be taken by the bin men. Bins blocking pavement after emptying

Reported via iOS in the Flytipping category anonymously at 22:54, Fri 1 December 2017

Sent to Solihull Borough Council less than a minute later

I would like to report 2 things. The first being the way the recycling bin collection men just though the bins back onto the pavement, not thinking about old people in mobility scooters who have no way of getting past waiting for a passerby to help them to get past, by moving the bins into a more suitable position. And secondly the rubbish that as built up over the past couple of weeks in Riley Drive because we never see anyone from the council come up to check if it’s clean or not, it seems to me that they only take care of the main roads and not us up the side roads.

  • This is always the way it is left on every other Thursday evenings, though to Friday’s due to recycling collections, residents and recycling bin men don’t realize they are blocking access to old or disabled people.
