Cycle path marking

The road markings for this short cycle lane are very faded. I frequently find cars and vans parking on it, blocking the access. As well as repainting the markings, what would really make a difference would be to have one or two posts along the line.

  • Had a phone call from Kent Highways. They will train to Canterbury City Council about having the double yellow lines wrapped around the bend to cover the cycle lane. This may help but I am not over confident.

  • The cycle lane marking has almost disappeared so lazy drivers feel emboldened to park here.
