Large piles of dead leaves need clearing, verges need cutting

Reported in the Leafing category by Julia Peduzzi at 17:27, Tue 28 November 2017

Sent to Bromley Council 2 minutes later

The many large piles of dead leaves have still not been cleared. This is despite the the fact that my neighbours and I have swept them into piles for ease of clearance. Those that remain on the pavements become extremely slippery when it rains. Once they are cleared, the grass verges need immediate cutting too.

  • I inspected this road today. I agree that the sheer quantity of leaves is above what I would expect the routine street cleansing to cope with. I will liaise with the operations manager of our street cleansing contractor to have this road placed on the rota for extra leaf clearance. I cannot give an exact date for this but it will be as soon as it can be arranged. AO 12/12/17
