Cars parking along Damson Parkway

Reported in the Car parking category by S. Hughes at 13:38, Sat 25 November 2017

Sent to Solihull Borough Council 1 minute later

People visiting or working at the Spire Hospital constantly parking on Damson Parkway. There has already been two accidents caused by this and I have witnessed numerous near misses. This is the trunk road for motorway closures, a main route from the Coventry Road across Solihull and one of the main routes used by Jaguar Land Rover employees. People parking here has only started happening within the last four months, they also park on the grass verges and impede the footpath on occasions. This is an accident waiting to happen and Inwould like to see Damson Parkway become double yellow lines or a red route.

  • Still no action taken by Solihull Council. Vehicles are still being parked causing unnecessary risk to moving traffic

  • Cars starting to park across the grass verges and now churning the grass up and occasionally impacting the footpath. This is an accident waiting to happen especially when there is a JLR shift change. SMBC gave JLR to expand further so at least help the traffic flow by stopping the parking along the Parkway!
