More flytipping on the same spot I've been reporting for over a year

Sent to Harrow Borough Council 3 minutes later

Four weeks ago, and after more than a year of reporting this area to the council, I was emailed by the council and told that I was going to be allocated an officer who would contact me about the flytipping and food waste which is constantly dumped here. Today there is a mattress on the grass and a bed base by the side of the bed shop (strange that don't you think?) and I still haven't been contacted by an officer from the council. I walked past here a couple of days ago and saw the street cleaner doing his best to pick the rubbish off of the grass, 30 minutes later as I walked back again the grass was covered in bread and bags of rubbish. It is a filthy mess. An utter disgrace on the behalf of the council as they have done nothing about this problem at all. One thing that would help is some simple signage warning people that it is illegal to flytip and that they can be fined if caught. However, I was told by the council last year that they didn't have any signs in the office. I doubt they have any now! The whole of Harrow is a rat infested dump. If you're planning to move here think again and if you live here think of leaving. The council tax payers in the borough and their standard of living is the last thing to ever be considered.
