Bure Valley Footpath / Cycle path route. Fallen fencing.

Reported via iOS in the Footpaths/ Rights of way (usually not tarmac) category by Mark Little at 21:21, Wed 22 November 2017

Sent to Norfolk County Council 4 minutes later

Safety fencing has collapsed on the Bure Valley former railway path. The fence would otherwise protect footpath users from a 20 foot drop on the north eastern side of the railway bridge. The fallen section is adjacent to a steep footpath ramp that is the route up and over the bridge itself. There is a risk to safety particularly to cycle users along the route.

Generally and at several locations along the rest of the footpath route in Brampton the safety fence is showing signs of deterioration. Some posts appear to have reached the end of their useful life and have rotted at the base. The majority of the fence run separates the footpath / cycle path from the railway line.
