Disgusting muddy state of road due to quarry lorries

This is an ongoing problem. The road surface on Gipsy Lane between Griff Quarry and the B4113 and surrounding area is in a disgusting muddy state. Large lorries bring huge quantities of mud onto the road. When mixed with surface water, this leaves a thick layer of muddy slurry. Not only does this result in a hazardous surface, it also results in my vehicle being plastered in mud. The quarry seems to use mechanised road sweepers which spread the mud out, but do little to clean the surface. At the junction with the B4113 there is a build-up of muddy debris around the bollards which is several inches thick. Local road signs are obliterated by mud. The planning consent for the quarry specified that wheel washing facilities should be used by all lorries. I am not sure whether these are used, but they are certainly ineffective! Please investigate and act on this hazard and nuisance.
