Very uneven Flags.
Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category by Ronald Webster at 18:43, Fri 17 November 2017
Sent to Lancashire County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1146289.
Most of the Main Footpath from Winsters to the Concourse which is Flagged, is very uneven. The condition of the Footpath has got to a state that there are MANY Flags "Sticking up" and are very dangerous to ride a bicycle on and for Pedestrians to TRIP on also. From the Cyclists point of view, another concern are the WIDENING GAPS between the Flags, which can snag and disorientate the Cyclists Wheels. Suggest Total Flag removal and Tar Mac the Whole Footpath, Please, BEFORE someone gets Seriously hurt.

Several Flags are tilted upwards and some have sunk and several are broken as well as the widening gaps between the flags which can snare a cyclists wheel and dilodge the cyclist from their bicycle.

The length of Footpath is progressively getting worse, with even more Flags requiring relaying/replacing. No communication from the Council on this Fault.

There is work about to begin on this situation (work in progress notices in place on footpath). Fingers crossed.

This section of Footpath urgently needs to be completely re-surfaced. The currently Flagged length of Footpath is a LIABILITY to Public Health and Safety and is a DISGRACE for any Council!!
