Post for counting device knocked over
Reported anonymously at 15:24, Thu 16 November 2017 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and West Oxfordshire District Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1145604.
The post which houses a counting device (I assume) for the footpath along Crown Lane has been knocked over by a vehicle and is now at a steep angle. This could be a danger if it were to fall on a child.
Council ref: 1145604

Thank you for your report. However it seems the pin you have placed is the wrong location, and we can't find the issue. If you can move the pin to the location of the issue and change the status back to 'open' we will investigate. Many thanks.

I have checked and the pin is in more or less the correct place. The post is located on the left hand side (heading towards the town centre) at the point where Church Lane changes into a footpath, next to a salt bin.

The post has been pushed back more upright by someone but must still constitute a hazard of falling, especially if a child plays with it.
