Car parking on grass enclosure
Reported anonymously at 21:33, Wed 15 November 2017
Sent to Cambridge City Council and Cambridgeshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1145066.
There's a residential car park off Devonshire Road that is nowadays full of illegitimate vehicles owned by commuters, estate agents, builders and students who simply exploit it as a 'free' car park. The result is that actual residents are sometimes forced to park in the main road, and the over-zealous warden administers a ticket within minutes. Meanwhile - and this has been happening for over six months - cars and vans freely park on this grassy area set back from Devonshire Road for hours on end. And they're never ticketed. So: can we ALL park there with impunity, whenever we wish, or are the council turning a blind eye to those who just don't give a damn?

Still traffic wardens handing out parking tickets up and down the street, while still some drivers park here with apparent impunity.
