Traffic lights not changing promptly when button pressed. (North Bound towards Cheals Roundabout)

Sent to West Sussex County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1142210.

Takes a very long time for lights to change to red once the button is pressed. Pedestrians are giving up waiting and just walking out with lights still on green. Not an issue on the south bound stretch where the lights change quickly once the button has been pressed.
