Vehicles ignoring double yellow lines, parking obstructing roads and footpaths. Loss of bus route as bus cannot negotiate Newstead Avenue. Emergency vehicle access blocked. Drop kerb provided for infirm footpath users used and blocked. Worse between 8AM and 2PM customers of ePots Pantry.

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 17:39, Thu 9 November 2017

Sent to Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council and Leicestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1141642.

See my summary, Please enforce some parking control in compliance of the Road Traffic Act. Do we have any traffic wardens in Hinckley? Why paint double yellows and do nothing to enforce the rule. Why spend lots of money installing high kerbs and bus stops and let the bus company change it's route? Why have drop kerbs for wheel chair and pram predestrians and allow road traffic to use these and why fence off grass verges and allow road traffic to abuse that area?
